Nancy Sokoler Steiner is a freelance writer and author based in Los Angeles. Specializing in health, education, and human interest pieces, Nancy has written for the Los Angeles Times Magazine, Westways, UCLA Magazine, The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles and Southbay Health, among others.

Nancy also crafts marketing materials such as newsletters, direct mail pieces and brochures for hospitals and other health-related organizations. Her clients include healthcare marketing firm SHM Publishing, Moon Tide Media, UCLA Health, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Pacific Neuroscience Institute.

A contributor to the book How To Be Like Women of Power: Courage and Advice to Create Your Own Destiny (HCI, 2008), Nancy has also written the children’s book On This Night: The Steps of the Seder in Rhyme (Hachai Publishing, 2013).
